The dominant baryte crystal is impressively large, sharply formed, and prominently displayed on its natural matrix. It shows a warm golden to honey-amber coloration, with areas of smoky gray zoning and internal veiling that give the crystal visual depth. Despite these natural inclusions, the crystal retains a distinctly gemmy character, transmitting a rich golden glow when backlit and showing attractive internal brightness through the broad prism faces. The main crystal has a bold, elongated tabular-to-prismatic habit with a clean chisel-like termination and well-defined beveled edges.
