Dioptase

The Kaokoveld Plateau is a region rich in Copper deposits, resulting in extremely prolific Dioptase veins that produce species-defining examples. This small cabinet specimen is rich in trigonal Dioptase crystals, all showing the classic deep, yet bright green that is a signature of the species. The edges are all sharp and well-formed, and the rich layer of Dioptase lends itself to a great colorful display.
