Los Lamentos is considered one of the premier localities for Wulfenite, and has been known to collectors for many, many decades. This particular specimen is from an unusual find from this famous Wulfenite locality, boasting a small number of thin, perfectly-formed, tabular crystals with a rich orange color and incredible transparency, growing within a white-lined vug. Each crystal is modified with beautifully beveled corners and edges that flash brightly from the Wulfenite's glassy luster. The matrix is dusted with minor associations of brilliant white Calcite, heavily contrasting the Wulfenite to create a perfect color balance. Ex: Ben Zuraitis Collection.
