A superb large Barite crystal specimen from the renowned Linwood Mine in Buffalo, Iowa, displaying beautifully transparent crystals with a rich honey-amber coloration and exceptional luster. The piece features a striking group of well-developed tabular Barite crystals, the largest measuring approximately 6.4 cm (2½ inches) in length. The crystals exhibit sharp edges and well-defined faces with excellent transparency, allowing light to penetrate the interior and reveal the warm golden tones characteristic of the finest Linwood material. The surfaces display a bright vitreous luster, and the crystals show classic Barite morphology with flat, glassy faces and crisp geometric form.
