The handsome cabinet-sized specimen from Teller County has a very artistic arrangement of crystals: at the center is a cross of two smoky Quartz crystals, both having the highly desirable, extremely dark smoky color that is characteristic of the best from Colorado. Flanking both sides of the cluster are large groups of beautiful lavender Fluorites, which feature obvious penetration twinning. The cubes themselves are sharply formed, isolated, and have a satin luster that complements the other visual textures in the specimen. This is all on top of a well-crystallized bed of Feldspar, serving as the foundation of the natural sculpture. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base. More Information: This specimen is in great condition. There is some cleaving on the back of the tallest Quartz termination.
