Large interesting quartz crystals with a cluster of microcline at the center with gem transparent aquamarine crystals. The aqua crystals are full terminated with rich transparency and lustrous striated prism faces with flat basal pinacoid terminations.
The size and aesthetics of this remarkable museum-quality specimen make this a very interesting example. The unusual composition of the Quartz, Feldspar, and of course Aquamarine together create an explosive focal point in the center, with the Aquamarines shooting off in all directions from the bright Feldspar. The large smoky Quartz crystals direct the eye to the center, like great wings. The Aquamarine crystals themselves are large, saturated, and substantial, at up to 5.8 centimeters in length and 1.7 cm in width. There are also about three hexagonal crystals of what appears to be Fluorapatite, which fluoresces a peachy orange.
