Description

A striking small-cabinet specimen featuring an exceptionally gem-clear aquamarine crystal dramatically rising from a sculptural feldspar matrix. This refined composition from the Goand Mine showcases both crystalline purity and elegant natural balance. The aquamarine stands tall and perfectly upright, its elongated hexagonal prism sharply defined with crisp edges and a clean, symmetrical termination. The upper portion exhibits a rich, saturated teal-blue core that transitions into luminous, water-clear transparency toward the lower section. The crystal is remarkably gemmy—light passes effortlessly through it, illuminating internal clarity and subtle growth features near the base. Its vitreous luster is bright and glass-like, enhancing the depth of color and transparency. Uniquely positioned, the aquamarine emerges from the feldspar at a slightly offset point, giving the piece a dynamic, architectural presence. The feldspar matrix forms a layered, white crystalline platform with stepped surfaces and a soft matte sheen, providing a perfect visual contrast to the aquamarine’s sleek brilliance. This specimen exemplifies the refined aesthetic and elite clarity that define the finest Pakistani aquamarines.
